Dana is our Practice Manager. She recently transitioned from Human Medicine to Veterinary Medicine. She has been in managment for 7 yrs and is excited about the change and looking forward to new challenges. She is the proud parent to six in addition to four dogs, Dewey, Mac, Papi and Dozer. Dana's mission statement is the same as that of the Practice itself "No one cares how much you know until they know how much you care". Her core beliefs for this practice are honesty, compassion, doing more than expected for our clients and their pets and just good old fashioned hard work. If you have any questions or concerns she is your gal.
Hannah is our Super-Hero Kennel Assistant as well as an Outstanding Receptionist. She is our concierge to our four-legged hotel guests and spa package recipients. She was born and raised right her in Yuma (please don't hold that against her). She is currently working toward a degree in Veterinary Technology. Once all of our boarders are quitely resting, Hannah can be found working in our back office jumping right in to help the techs with assisting duties, which she truly enjoys. She is the proud parent of two Husky Mixes, Karson and Khloe. She frequently volunteers for the HSOY and has fostered for them in the past.
Eileen was raised in Arizona but has also lived in other parts of the country to include Florida, Hawaii and Washington. She loves the desert and hot weather. She is a graduate of U of A with a BS in Ecology and Biology. She is a Certified Veterinary Technician and has 7 yrs experience in the veterinary/animal field. She has a lab/shephard mix named Teva. Eileen's favorite thing about working in the vet industry is all the different personalities of all the wonderful animals she comes into contact with. She is a great asset to our team.
Alysia is our Director of First Impression (receptionist doesn't say enough about Alysia). Alysia was raised here in Yuma. She is currently working toward a degree in Psychology with the plan of becoming a Therapist some day. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and researching locations for future travel.
Risa is one of our steadfast devotees to animals and their proper care and handling. She is a tremendous resource for our clients as well as our team. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience to back up her skill as a technician. Risa is also a dental and nutritional advocate and enjoys working with our clients on devising a healthy diet for your pets.
Stephanie has been with us for a couple of years now. She is a ray of sunshine on our stressful tense days. She always comes prepared to share her positive attitude with us and our clients. She is cultivating some tremendous assisting skills to go along with her deep passion and concern for animals and their health. She is proudly owned by her shih-tzu kiddo Daisy.
Teagan is currently pursuing her College career outside of Yuma but comes by to visit us often. You will be sure to see her here every chance she gets. She has a great love of all animals and it shows through her everyday actions here at the hospital. Teagan is the wonderful artist responsible for the photographs throughout our hospital. If you ever have an interest in the art you see here please don’t hesitate to ask about the artist. She has a marvelous artistic eye.
