Arizona West Veterinary Clinic

We have researched the topics that are most commonly discussed during your pet's visits with us and some topics that aren't discussed enough.  We have highlighted them during our montly theme program.  Every month a different topic will be highlighted and discussed with our clients that visit us during that month.  We are very proud of the great amount of support and enthusiasm we have recieved for this program from our clients.  It is never our intention to "sell" you something you don't need.  We do however want you to know what is available to you and your pets...

January is Pet Nutrition month.  We offer lifestage and therapeutic diets.  Lifestage diets are those that are designed to encourage optimal health during the different life stages of your pet such as puppy, adult, and mature adult.  We can even provide large breed formulations or smaller bites for the little guys.  Therapeutic diets are those that are prescribed by one of the doctors.  We carry a large variety of veterinary prescription diets to nutritionally support those pets that are currently undergoing some form of veterinary care like bladder conditions, diabettes, overweight, etc.

February is National Pet Dental Health month.  This month is huge for our hospital.  We gear up to perform dental cleaning after dental cleaning to help our furry friends maintain a clean healthy smile.  We offer tooth brushing demonstrations as well as educational discussions about the importance of proper pet dental care.  We offer a discount on our dental cleaning procedure during the month of February and because demand was so high last year we have extended that into March as well.  So call today to book your appointment for a physical exam if your pet hasn't had one in the past year and let's plan to get those chompers cleaned.

March is Behavior and Training month.  We have prepared many handouts on proper training techniques for your furry friends.  We are introducing basic obedience and puppy kindergarten classes to help our clients learn techniques for training their pets at home.  If you are a client and are interested in either of these classes please call our office or email us for more information.  Classes start often so call now to get registered for the next class.
